The Specification Lead

Vanita Dhand-Panchal, Commercial and Specification Co-Founder

Vanita leads the specification side of Capramont & Co and works directly with interior designers, architects, millwork teams and procurement teams on US projects. She understands how shop drawings, finish samples, cabinet-front thickness, center-to-center dimensions and future reorders must be coordinated before a millwork package is released.

Every Capramont account has a named account manager who remains the principal point of contact from samples and shop-drawing review through finish approval, ordering and delivery. They work directly with our specification and manufacturing teams in England, keeping project decisions connected from first review through production.

Vanita is also a guest lecturer at the University of Warwick and supervises Executive MBA and MSc Innovation & Entrepreneurship dissertations. Her professional and academic contribution received royal recognition through a Queen’s Award presented by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace.

Precision machining Capramont cabinet hardware in England

The Maker

Precision Made in England for US Cabinetry

Capramont & Co is led by a precision engineer with more than four decades of experience across motorsport, aerospace and marine manufacturing. That background brings drawing control, material discipline and repeatability to cabinet pulls, knobs, edge pulls and appliance-scale hardware.

Each piece is developed from a controlled drawing, precision machined at our English facility and checked before dispatch. US project teams gain dependable center-to-center dimensions, controlled projection and repeatable finish references across kitchens, closets, built-ins and architectural millwork.

Materials and Finishes for US Cabinetry and Millwork

Coordinate the hardware finish with cabinet samples, stone, plumbing fixtures, lighting and appliance metals before production. Heritage finishes provide the principal decorative range, while Atelier materials offer alternative specifications where environment or material performance matters.

Heritage Brass Finishes

Solid brass cabinet pulls and knobs, precision machined and hand-finished in England. Approve one full-size finish reference, then maintain that reference across kitchens, closets, vanities, bars and whole-home millwork.

Atelier Performance Materials

Review marine-grade stainless steel, naval brass, titanium and other Atelier routes where coastal exposure, bathrooms, frequent cleaning or a more technical material character affects the specification.

Custom and Project-Specific Sizes

Custom center-to-center dimensions, replacement drilling patterns, longer pulls and appliance-scale pieces can be reviewed against US shop drawings before manufacture.

Review Cabinet Hardware Profiles Before Specification

Use the product films to assess profile, grip, projection and finish movement, then open the US product page for dimensions, options and project information.
