Refund policy

Refund and Returns Policy

Capramont & Co supplies made-to-order cabinet hardware, samples, finish sign-off items and project-related hardware for cabinetry, joinery and interior projects.

Please read this policy before placing an order.

Returns must be requested before any item is sent back. Items sent to us without written return approval may not be accepted.

To request a return, please contact us at info@capramontandco.com with your order number, item details and reason for the request.

Where a return is approved, we will provide the correct return instructions and return address. Please do not send items back until the return has been reviewed and approved by Capramont & Co.

Made-to-order and project hardware

Most Capramont & Co hardware is made to order.

Made-to-order, bespoke, project-specific, finish-approved or specially manufactured items are not automatically returnable unless they are faulty, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise agreed by Capramont & Co in writing.

Where hardware has been made to a confirmed specification, finish, size, centre, material, project schedule or approved order detail, return eligibility will be reviewed individually.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Samples and finish sign-off items

Samples and finish sign-off items may be reviewed separately from made-to-order project hardware.

To be eligible for return, any approved sample return must be unused, undamaged and in its original condition and packaging.

Items damaged through handling, installation, cleaning, misuse or unsuitable storage may not be eligible for refund.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Please inspect your order as soon as it is received.

If an item is damaged, faulty or incorrect, contact us immediately at info@capramontandco.com with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs.

We will review the issue and confirm the appropriate next step.

Finish variation and living finishes

Many Capramont & Co finishes are living finishes. They may naturally vary in tone, depth and surface character, and may continue to develop through handling, use, air exposure, cleaning and environment.

Natural finish variation, patination or reasonable visual difference from screen images is not automatically a fault.

Where finish approval is required, physical samples or agreed approval records should be used before manufacture or project supply.

Return approval and inspection

Approval of a return does not automatically confirm a refund.

Returned items will be inspected after receipt. Any refund, replacement or exchange remains subject to the approved return details, product condition and applicable order terms.

Refunds

If a refund is approved after inspection, we will process it to the original payment method where possible.

Please allow time for your bank, card provider or payment provider to process the refund after it has been issued.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.

Where production, finishing, bespoke work, project scheduling or procurement has already begun, cancellation may not be possible or may be subject to costs already incurred.

Bespoke, personalised or specially manufactured goods

Certain goods made to a customer’s specification or clearly personalised may be excluded from standard cancellation rights.

This may include bespoke sizes, non-standard centres, project-specific finishes, custom specifications, special materials, specially manufactured items or other agreed project-specific requirements.

This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet legal requirements.

Trade and B2B orders

Trade, business and project orders may be subject to separate commercial terms agreed with Capramont & Co.
