Supplier Review for US Kitchen Studios & Cabinet Shops | Capramont & Co

Use this supplier review route before adding Capramont & Co to a US kitchen, cabinetry or whole-home project. It helps designers, architects, builders and cabinet shops assess British-made cabinet hardware through samples, finish approval, product pages, US Letter spec sheets, drawing review, trade access and Hardware Schedule support.

US supplier screening

Use this route before adding Capramont to a US project or vendor shortlist.

This workflow is for US interior designers, architects, builders, cabinet shops, custom millwork teams and kitchen studios that need to review Capramont & Co before specifying British-made cabinet hardware on a client project.

Start here when the decision needs physical finish approval, PDP review, center-to-center checks, US Letter spec sheets, a submittal pack, drawing review or a controlled Hardware Schedule before ordering.

Review inputs

What to send for a useful US supplier review.

Send only the information that reduces risk at the next decision point. A first introduction may need only the company role and project type. A live order should include drawings, quantities, finish direction, door and drawer logic, center-to-center requirements and approval deadlines.

Submittal control

Turn supplier review into a usable US submittal path.

A supplier review becomes useful when the project team can move from images to decisions. Use this table to decide whether you need product pages, finish samples, US Letter spec sheets, drawing review or a Hardware Schedule.

Project question US check to make Document or action
Will the pull fit the cabinetry? Check center-to-center, projection, grip clearance, drawer-front proportion and door rail/stile space. Product page plus US Letter spec sheet where available.
Will it work on appliance panels? Confirm appliance panel or refrigerator panel use, pull length, fixing logic and the cabinet maker's substrate assumptions. Project & Drawing Review before release.
Will the finish match the room? Review against cabinet color, countertop, appliance finish and actual lighting before made-to-order production. Finish Sign-Off Knob or sample route.
Will the order stay controlled? Track products, sizes, centers, finishes, quantities, rooms, approvals and revisions in one record. Hardware Schedule for whole-home or phased work.
Will the team need custom centers? Use measured hole spacing and cabinet drawings before assuming a standard pull will solve the requirement. Custom center review through Project & Drawing Review.

Cabinetry fit

US cabinetry checks before shortlisting a hardware supplier.

Inset and face-frame

Confirm rail and stile widths, drawer-front proportion, hand clearance and projection so the pull does not interfere with the cabinetry layout.

Full-overlay fronts

Review pull length, visual alignment and edge spacing across drawers, doors and tall panels before client sign-off.

Appliance panels

Flag appliance panels and refrigerator panels early because weight, length, fixing and grip expectations differ from standard cabinet doors.

Closet and utility spaces

For closets, laundry rooms, mudrooms, pantries and bathroom vanities, check high-use locations, finish handling and room-by-room consistency.

US note: If a project already has drilled holes, measure the center-to-center hole spacing before requesting a product recommendation. If the centers are non-standard, use the project review route rather than guessing.

PDP and document checks

Use product pages and US Letter files during supplier screening.

These products are useful starting points for review because they show finish approval, contemporary pull scale and decorative pull direction. Use the product page for imagery and options, then use US Letter spec sheets where available for submittal or project discussion.

Finish Sign-Off Knob

Use this when the supplier decision depends on seeing the finish against real cabinetry, lighting and appliance finishes before made-to-order production.

Use for: finish approval, client sign-off, sample-led review.
