Atelier Performance Materials

Performance-led material specification

Burlington Cabinet Knob — Performance Metals is the Atelier performance-material version of this cabinet knob. The material route is selected according to the project environment, handling frequency, cleaning regime, weight, surface requirements and expected service conditions — not by decorative appearance alone.

For UAE projects, review Atelier materials for villas, penthouses, hotels, resorts, spas, high-use fitted interiors and selected yacht-interior joinery. Humidity, frequent cleaning, repeated handling and project-specific material suitability should be resolved before manufacturing begins.

Specification rule: shortlist the product design first, then select the Atelier material around the actual service condition. Final suitability remains application-specific and should be reviewed before quotation and production.

Available performance materials

Available on this product: Powdercoated Aluminium — Black; Powdercoated Aluminium — White; Marine-Grade Stainless Steel 316L

Marine

Marine-Grade Stainless Steel 316L

Construction: Solid 316L stainless steel.

Performance focus: Corrosion resistance where prolonged moisture, salt air, humidity and atmospheric change are material considerations.

Project route: Coastal and waterfront residences, bathrooms, spas, high-humidity interiors and selected yacht-interior cabinetry subject to project review.

Aerospace

Powdercoated Aluminium — Black / White

Construction: Precision-machined aluminium alloy with a controlled powder-coated surface.

Performance focus: Low weight, dimensional stability and consistent architectural colour.

Project route: Contemporary residential and hospitality joinery, architectural interiors and weight-sensitive fitted furniture where surface uniformity matters.

Product-specific material suitability

Stainless 316L is the strongest route in this product for moisture, salt air, bathrooms, coastal residences and high-humidity interior conditions. Powdercoated aluminium provides low weight, dimensional stability and controlled colour for architectural interiors. Final suitability depends on location, exposure, cleaning regime, fixing conditions and the approved project specification; review demanding hospitality, coastal and yacht-interior applications before production.

Project applications

High-end residential & whole-project joinery

Use Atelier when the underlying material, cleaning regime, repeated handling or environment needs to be controlled across kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, bars, utility spaces and whole-home fitted furniture.

Hotel & hospitality

Review the selected material against guestroom casegoods, wardrobes, minibars, vanity cabinetry, bars and other repeated FF&E joinery. Quantities, finish consistency, housekeeping, spare requirements and reorder continuity should be controlled through one approved hardware schedule.

Coastal, waterfront & high-humidity interiors

316L stainless steel provides a material route to review where moisture, salt-laden air, ventilation, cleaning exposure or long-term environmental stability are important. Do not assume every material route is suitable for every exposure condition.

Yacht interiors

Selected Atelier materials can be reviewed for yacht-interior cabinetry and fitted furniture. New-build and refit projects should confirm the exact interior location, environmental exposure, fixing centres, projection, cleaning regime and approved joinery drawings before material approval.

Weight-sensitive & specialist interiors

The powdercoated aluminium route can be reviewed where reduced weight, specialist material character, dimensional stability or a controlled architectural surface forms part of the specification.

Long-life specification & reorder continuity

Record product, size, fixing centres, material route, approved finish reference, quantity, room use and spare requirement before production so future replacements and phased project orders can return to the same controlled specification.

Material approval & project review
