A cabinet hardware finish should not be chosen in isolation. The same brass, bronze, nickel or black finish can feel different against ivory paint, stone neutrals, dark oak, walnut veneer, navy lacquer, green cabinetry, cool grey utility rooms or charcoal joinery.

What is the safest hardware finish for off-white cabinets?
Aged Brass, Fine English Antique Brass and Satin Brass are usually safe starting points for off-white cabinetry. Satin Nickel can work if the scheme is cooler, while black gives stronger contrast.
What finish works best on green cabinets?
