The nature of a living finish
Time Has Excellent Taste.
The best things are seldom entirely uniform. Six brass finishes carry carefully developed patinas, each individually hand-finished and protected with a light oil treatment. Satin Brass reveals the natural warmth of the metal through a softly finished surface.

Fine English Antique Brass
A little history, beautifully expressed. Deeper brown tones evoke established English metalwork, with richness that continues to acquire nuance.

Dark Aged Brass
For interiors that prefer to speak in lower tones. Muted brown and bronze are tempered by cooler undertones and changing light.

Medium Bronze

Photographs are an invitation to consider a finish, not an exact tonal standard. Brass changes its appearance with daylight, artificial light, neighbouring materials and the natural variation of hand finishing.
For projects where a finish must be approved before production, the physical sample establishes the agreed reference for tone and surface character. A living finish retains its natural individuality; approval is a considered reference, not a promise of laboratory uniformity.
