Edwardian and Heritage Classic cabinet hardware should feel refined, balanced and quietly traditional. This collection brings together Capramont & Co handles, knobs, T-bars and cup pulls suited to painted kitchens, wardrobes, pantries, utilities, dressing rooms, fitted furniture and whole-home joinery where the hardware needs heritage character without becoming heavy.

Use this collection to compare lighter heritage hardware families, handle centres, knob scale, T-bar size, cup pull options, projection, grip, finish route and visual weight before shortlisting products. For live projects, send drawings, elevations, room quantities or centre requirements before ordering so the Edwardian or Heritage Classic hardware specification can be checked together.

Edwardian and Heritage Classic specification checks

Harrington The clearest starting point for lighter heritage cabinetry. Turned detail, calm proportion and restrained visual weight suit painted kitchens, wardrobes, pantry joinery, utilities and whole-home fitted furniture.
Farringdon Formal but not heavy. Use where an Edwardian or Heritage Classic scheme needs controlled proportion, cup pull options, drawer-bank structure and a more ordered fitted-furniture language.
Brunswick Rounded form and softer traditional detail for kitchen doors, drawers, wardrobes, pantries, bedside furniture and transitional heritage rooms where the hardware should feel warm and familiar.
Varndell Use selectively where the room can take more texture and period character. Ribbed detail can add craft and tactility to painted cabinetry, pantries, boot rooms and heritage joinery without needing a heavier Victorian route.

Before shortlisting products

Cabinet language This route usually works best with painted cabinetry, framed doors, shaker kitchens, wardrobes, pantries, dressing rooms and fitted furniture where the hardware should support the scheme without dominating it.
Centres For replacement work, confirm existing hole centres before ordering. For new joinery, agree the centre schedule before doors, drawers and wardrobe fronts are drilled.
Scale Use knobs and T-bars for smaller positions, handles for drawers and tall doors, and cup pulls where a traditional drawer detail is needed without adding too much mass.
Finish route Aged brass, satin brass, bronze, dark bronze, black and satin stainless can shift the same profile from calm painted-cabinetry restraint to richer heritage character.
Batch consistency For whole-home joinery packages, approve finish direction and quantities together so handles, knobs, T-bars and cup pulls are produced as a controlled set.

When this style route is right

Choose Edwardian and Heritage Classic hardware when the brief needs tradition, softness and refinement rather than heavy period detail. It is particularly suitable for painted kitchens, lighter restored homes, wardrobes, dressing rooms, pantries, utilities, bedside furniture and fitted furniture where the handle should feel elegant and long-lasting.

This route is less suitable when the project needs strong Victorian weight, strict Georgian formality, slab-front minimalism or bold Deco geometry. For those briefs, compare the Victorian & Arts and Crafts, Georgian, Regency & Neoclassical, Modern Architectural & Minimalist or Art Deco & Linear Deco routes before final selection.

Project and finish support

Capramont & Co cabinet hardware is made in England for project-led interiors. Heritage finishes are suited to traditional cabinetry, painted joinery and fitted furniture, while selected Atelier Metals can be specified where the project needs specialist material choices, bathrooms, coastal homes, yachts or a more performance-led finish route.

For a clean specification, shortlist by collection first, then confirm product type, centres, overall length, projection, finish and quantity. If the project includes several rooms, a hardware schedule helps keep doors, drawers, wardrobes, pantry fronts, appliance-height fronts and finish approvals aligned before production.
