Specification

Manufactured by Capramont & Co in England, Beaufort is a rear-fixed cabinet handle for slab, slim-frame shaker, fluted and plain-panel fronts. Six overall-length and centre combinations are offered, with 33–40 mm projection, a 15 × 12 mm or 24 × 12 mm bar section, Heritage finishes and selected Atelier materials.

Standard dimensions are listed below. Where a project requires custom centres, replacement of an existing drilling pattern or coordination across unusually proportioned doors and drawers, Capramont & Co can review the required centres against cabinet drawings, existing hole positions and fixing conditions before production.

For kitchen, wardrobe and whole-home schedules, record the selected sizes, centres, finishes, quantities, projections and product references within one approved specification. Drawings should be reviewed before procurement where dimensions remain provisional, several hardware sizes must align or specialist Atelier materials are proposed. Production timing becomes reliable once dimensions, quantities and finish approvals are fixed.

Materials and finishes

Select the material and finish alongside the approved cabinet sample, interior palette and wider hardware schedule. Heritage finishes provide the principal decorative range, while selected Atelier materials offer alternative metal specifications where a different material character or project requirement applies.

Complete finish approval before manufacturing begins, particularly where several handles, knobs or appliance pulls must coordinate across a kitchen, wardrobe or whole-home specification. Specialist materials should be reviewed against the intended application, handling frequency, cleaning regime and environmental conditions.

Heritage

Base material: Solid brass for brass Heritage finishes; stainless steel for Satin Stainless Steel

Heritage offers patinated and satin finish routes for the Beaufort profile, including aged brass, antique brass, bronze, black, satin brass and satin stainless steel. Living brass finishes develop naturally with handling and environment; approve the physical finish reference before production for project consistency.

Atelier materials

Available materials: Satin Nickel, Naval Brass and Stainless 316L

For projects requiring a different material or performance route, Beaufort is available in Satin Nickel, Naval Brass and Stainless 316L. Atelier suitability, finish reference, quantities and pricing are reviewed before quotation and confirmed before production.

Material suitability

Heritage brass finishes are intended primarily for interior cabinetry and will develop a living patina. For humid, coastal, marine-adjacent or high-use environments, request a material review before specification; Naval Brass or Stainless 316L may be considered according to exposure, cleaning regime and project requirements.
