Capramont & Co’s Harrington Handle is the longer pull within the Harrington collection, designed for Edwardian & Heritage Classic, Georgian, Regency & Neoclassical and Victorian & Arts and Crafts cabinetry. Its refined traditional profile gives drawers and doors a lighter period presence than a more robust heritage handle. Made to order in England.

Specification

Manufactured by Capramont & Co in England, the Harrington Handle is a cabinet handle for slab, slim-frame shaker and fluted / ribbed fronts. Available in 7 size options, with centres of 106, 146, 176, 246, 306, 376 and 616 mm and overall lengths of 170, 210, 240, 310, 370, 450 and 690 mm. Heritage finish and selected Atelier material routes are available. Projection, section and detailed fitting dimensions are provided in the linked technical sheet.

Standard dimensions are listed below. Where a project requires custom centres, replacement of an existing drilling pattern or coordination across unusually proportioned doors and drawers, Capramont & Co can review the required centres against cabinet drawings, existing hole positions and fixing conditions before production.

For kitchen, wardrobe and whole-home schedules, record the selected sizes, centres, finishes, quantities, projections and product references within one approved specification. Drawings should be reviewed before procurement where dimensions remain provisional, several hardware sizes must align or specialist Atelier materials are proposed. Production timing becomes reliable once dimensions, quantities and finish approvals are fixed.

Materials and finishes

Select the material and finish alongside the approved cabinet sample, interior palette and wider hardware schedule. Heritage finishes provide the principal decorative range, while selected Atelier materials offer alternative metal specifications where a different material character or project requirement applies.

Complete finish approval before manufacturing begins, particularly where several handles, knobs or appliance pulls must coordinate across a kitchen, wardrobe or whole-home specification. Specialist materials should be reviewed against the intended application, handling frequency, cleaning regime and environmental conditions.

Heritage

Base material: Solid brass for brass Heritage finishes; stainless steel for Satin Stainless Steel where offered

Heritage offers patinated, darkened and satin finish routes for this profile. Living brass finishes develop naturally with handling and environment; approve the physical finish reference before production for project consistency.

Atelier materials

Available materials: Satin Nickel, Naval Brass and Stainless 316L

For projects requiring a different material or performance route, selected Atelier options include Satin Nickel, Naval Brass and Stainless 316L. Suitability, finish reference, quantities and pricing are reviewed before quotation and confirmed before production.

Material suitability

Heritage brass finishes are intended primarily for interior cabinetry and develop naturally with handling. Available Atelier routes include Satin Nickel, Naval Brass and Stainless 316L. For humid, coastal, marine-adjacent or high-use environments, request a material review before specification so exposure, cleaning regime and finish expectations can be assessed.
