Character
The smallest details often reveal the most about the people who live there.
Explore the hardware
Most private homes do not need specialist materials everywhere. Heritage gives kitchens, wardrobes, dressing rooms and fitted furniture their principal material language. Performance Metals can then be introduced selectively where humidity, repeated handling, weight or a more technical material character becomes part of the room.
The whole home
A private residence is rarely one cabinet scale repeated from room to room. Kitchens, wardrobes, dressing rooms, bars, vanities and fitted furniture each ask for different proportions while still belonging to the same home. The useful discipline is not making every room identical; it is deciding what should remain constant and what should be allowed to change.
01
Choose the design language, principal material and finish direction that should carry through the residence.
02
Move between knobs, pulls, longer handles and appliance-scale hardware as cabinetry proportions change rather than forcing one size everywhere.
03
Fix dimensions, material and finish references in the hardware schedule so kitchens, wardrobes, bars and later additions return to the same project logic.

Materials & performance
The same residence can contain a warm brass kitchen, a quieter dressing room, a heavily handled bar and a more demanding bathroom or waterfront zone. A coherent home does not require every room to make the same material choice.
Use Heritage where atmosphere and patina lead. Introduce Performance Metals only where environment, handling, scale or material character gives a reason to do so.
01
For kitchens, wardrobes, dressing rooms, studies and fitted furniture where touch, patina and the atmosphere of the room lead the decision.
02
For bathroom cabinetry, wellness-adjacent joinery and waterfront rooms where environmental stability becomes part of the brief.
03
For bars, media joinery, larger-format pulls and specialist pieces where repeated handling, wear or reduced mass provides a specific reason for another material route.
Material suitability remains application-specific. Review room conditions, handling frequency, cleaning regime, cabinetry construction and the approved physical finish before production.
Selected residential hardware
These examples are selected for four different residential jobs: discreet edge-led cabinetry, compact secondary positions, larger feature joinery and a selective Performance Metals route for more demanding rooms.
Kitchen · Wardrobe · Whole-home joinery
Aged Brass · Heritage
A distinctly residential Mid-Century and Scandinavian route for kitchens, wardrobes, dressing rooms and living-space joinery. Seven sizes run from cabinet pull to appliance-pull scale, allowing one relaxed design language to travel through the home.
Smaller drawers · Pantry · Secondary positions
Aged Brass · Heritage
A compact T-bar for doors and smaller fronts where a full pull would feel too strong. The product data specifically places it in high-end residential kitchens, living spaces and fitted furniture.
Feature cabinetry · Tall units · Appliance-scale positions
Aged Brass · Heritage
A more architectural residential pull with seven standard sizes through 604 mm centres. The baseplate gives substantial kitchen, wardrobe and statement joinery a deliberate focal point rather than merely a larger handle.
Bathroom · Humidity · Specialist residential
Marine-Grade Stainless Steel 316L · Performance Metals
A deliberately selective Performance Metals example for bathroom, higher-humidity or specialist residential cabinetry. The live Lexham Performance Metals listing confirms 316L as one of the actual material routes offered on this design.
The four examples perform four different residential jobs without repeating the featured families used on the other project pages: Maddox provides the principal whole-home pull; Brunswick gives a compact secondary detail; Egerton gives larger and feature joinery more architectural presence; Lexham introduces 316L only where a bathroom, humidity or specialist room gives a genuine reason for a Performance Metal.
