01 · Marine

Performance metals for moisture, humidity & coastal environments

Solid metals and engineered surfaces selected where corrosion resistance and environmental stability form part of the hardware brief.

Harrington Cabinet Knob in Marine-Grade Stainless Steel 316L

Marine Grade · Solid Metal

Marine-Grade Stainless Steel 316L

A low-carbon, molybdenum-alloyed stainless steel widely selected where corrosion resistance needs to go beyond conventional interior stainless steel. The molybdenum improves resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-bearing environments, making 316L a natural route for demanding luxury interiors.

PERFORMANCE High corrosion resistance

Particularly effective where humidity, moisture and salt-laden air form part of the environment.

MATERIAL Solid 316L stainless steel

Performance comes from the metal itself rather than a decorative coating over a conventional substrate.

CHARACTER Cool, precise & substantial

A clean silver-grey metal with the weight and tactile solidity expected from precision-machined stainless steel.

PROJECTS Marine & high-humidity interiors

Yacht interiors, coastal residences, waterfront projects, spas, hospitality and other demanding fitted cabinetry.

Harrington Cabinet Knob in Marine-Grade Naval Brass

Marine Grade · Solid Metal

Marine-Grade Naval Brass

A copper-zinc-tin engineering alloy developed for marine service. Naval brass combines the warmth and depth of solid brass with a material composition designed for improved performance in demanding environments.

PERFORMANCE Marine-proven alloy family

Tin contributes to the alloy's environmental stability and supports its established use in marine and shipboard engineering.

MATERIAL Warm colour through the metal

The golden tone belongs to the solid alloy itself rather than being created by a plated decorative surface.

CHARACTER Rich, tactile & substantial

Delivers the warmth associated with brass while creating a distinctly more technical material specification.

PROJECTS Luxury marine & coastal interiors

Yacht cabinetry, coastal residences, waterfront homes and exceptional interiors requiring a warm performance metal.

Harrington Cabinet Knob in Nickel-Coated Naval Brass Satin Nickel

Marine Grade · Engineered Surface

Nickel-Coated Naval Brass Satin Nickel

A marine-grade naval-brass foundation with an engineered nickel surface. The combination brings the cooler architectural character of satin nickel to a substrate selected for more demanding environmental performance.

PERFORMANCE Corrosion & wear resistance

Nickel coatings are widely used in engineering to improve surface durability, corrosion resistance and wear behaviour.

CONSTRUCTION Naval brass beneath nickel

Performance is built as a complete material system: engineered substrate and controlled metallic surface.

CHARACTER Cool satin architectural tone

A refined nickel appearance for interiors requiring the restraint of silver-toned hardware rather than warm brass.

PROJECTS Refined high-performance interiors

Yacht interiors, coastal homes, bathrooms, hospitality and premium cabinetry where appearance and performance are equally important.

02 · Aerospace

High-strength aluminium with exceptionally low mass

Precision-machined aerospace-grade aluminium for projects where reducing hardware weight is valuable without giving up the integrity of a high-strength engineering metal.

Harrington Cabinet Knob in Aerospace-Grade Aluminium Black

Aerospace Grade · Lightweight Metal

Aerospace-Grade Aluminium Black

A high-strength aerospace aluminium chosen for its exceptional strength-to-weight relationship and precision-machining capability. It creates substantially lighter cabinet hardware while retaining the crisp geometry and engineered feel expected from solid metal.

Aerospace aluminium is used where structural strength needs to be achieved with significantly less weight than steel or brass.

ENGINEERING Precision-machined from solid

High-strength aerospace aluminium allows clean machining, controlled dimensions and sharply defined architectural forms.

SURFACE Controlled black powdercoat

The engineered coating gives the aluminium a consistent architectural black while retaining the low-mass substrate beneath.

PROJECTS Weight-sensitive luxury cabinetry

Larger pulls, appliance-scale hardware, yacht interiors, contemporary kitchens and specialist fitted furniture.

Harrington Cabinet Knob in Aerospace-Grade Aluminium White

Aerospace Grade · Lightweight Metal

Aerospace-Grade Aluminium White

The same high-strength aerospace material with a controlled white powdercoated surface. It brings genuine low-mass engineering into interiors where the hardware is intended to sit quietly within the cabinetry rather than read as a conventional metallic finish.

PERFORMANCE Strength without unnecessary mass

An excellent material route for larger components where reducing weight improves the overall hardware specification.

ENGINEERING High-strength aerospace material

Derived from an alloy family used for highly loaded aircraft structures where strength and weight are critical.

SURFACE Controlled white powdercoat

A clean architectural surface that integrates naturally with pale, minimal and highly controlled cabinetry.

PROJECTS Minimal & specialist interiors

Luxury residential cabinetry, wardrobes, hospitality, yacht interiors and larger-format hardware.

03 · Motor Racing

Grade 5 titanium — exceptional strength with low mass

A high-performance titanium alloy used where strength-to-weight, corrosion resistance and material integrity justify an exceptional specification.
