The Farringdon Collection is a Contemporary Classic cabinet hardware family with Edwardian, Heritage Classic, Craftsman, Shaker and Transitional influences. Made in England by Capramont & Co, Farringdon brings together cabinet handles, cup pulls, round knobs, mushroom knobs and cushion knobs for shaker kitchens, in-frame cabinetry, panelled doors, beaded cupboards, simple slab fronts, pantries, utility rooms, boot rooms, wardrobes, dressing rooms and fitted furniture.

Use this collection to compare Farringdon handle centres, cup pull centres, knob diameters, overall lengths, finish route, cabinet style, room use, replacement suitability and project sign-off before shortlisting products. For live joinery, send drawings, elevations, existing hole positions or a room-by-room Hardware Schedule before ordering so the Farringdon specification can be checked before production.

Farringdon collection specification checks

Farringdon Handle The main Farringdon pull handle route. Use for drawer banks, pan drawers, tall larder doors, wardrobes, dressing-room cabinetry and fitted furniture where a softly rounded pull should give the elevation a calm, Contemporary Classic line.
Farringdon Cup A softly rounded cup pull for kitchen drawers, pantry cupboards, utility-room storage, boot-room cabinetry and furniture fronts where a classic drawer pull is needed without moving into heavier period detailing.
Farringdon Round Knob The clearest knob route for classic shaker doors, upper cupboards, pantry cabinetry, wardrobe doors and balanced handle-and-knob schedules.
Farringdon Mushroom Knob A softer, traditional knob profile for cabinet doors, furniture pieces, wardrobes and bedroom joinery where the handle detail should feel warmer and more tactile.
Farringdon Cushion Knob A softly squared knob for shaker doors, panelled cabinetry, bedside joinery, wardrobes and media furniture where a round knob would feel too traditional but a sharp modern knob would feel too hard.

Before shortlisting products

Cabinet language Farringdon works best with shaker, in-frame shaker, panelled, beaded and simple slab cabinetry. It suits kitchens, pantries, utility rooms, boot rooms, wardrobes and dressing rooms where the hardware should be refined, tactile and not overly decorative.
Handle centres Farringdon Handles are available in 108, 140, 172, 232, 300, 386 and 626 mm overall lengths, with 92, 124, 156, 220, 284, 364 and 604 mm centres. Confirm centre-to-centre measurements before drilling.
Cup pull centres Farringdon Cup Pulls are available in 60, 96 and 148 mm overall lengths, with 50, 86 and 138 mm centres. Use these for drawer-led kitchen, pantry and utility-room cabinetry.
Knob scale Farringdon Round, Mushroom and Cushion Knobs are available in 19, 25, 31 and 38 mm sizes. Use 19 or 25 mm for smaller doors and furniture details, then 31 or 38 mm where the cabinetry needs more presence.
Finish route Specify Farringdon in Heritage finishes for aged brass, Fine English antique brass, dark aged brass, bronze, black, satin brass or satin stainless character. Selected Atelier routes include naval brass, satin nickel on naval brass and powder-coated black.

Proof and ordering checks

Before ordering Confirm product type, size, centre-to-centre measurement, knob size, finish, quantity, room location, cabinet thickness and fixing requirements before release.
Finish sign-off Use finish samples where the hardware must be approved against paint colour, timber, stone, brassware, lighting, flooring or appliances. This is especially important for aged brass, bronze, black, satin brass and satin stainless choices.
Replacement use For replacement handles or cup pulls, measure existing hole centres first. Farringdon handle centres are 92–604 mm; Farringdon cup pull centres are 50, 86 and 138 mm.

Farringdon hardware summary

Collection character Contemporary Classic with Edwardian, Heritage Classic, Craftsman, Shaker and Transitional influence. The collection is softly rounded, tactile and traditional-modern rather than sharp, flat or heavily ornate.
Best applications Kitchens, pantries, utility rooms, boot rooms, wardrobes, dressing rooms, bedroom joinery, boutique hospitality cabinetry and furniture-led fitted interiors.
Best hardware types Pull handles for main runs and tall fronts. Cup pulls for drawer-led cabinetry. Round, Mushroom and Cushion Knobs for doors, upper cupboards, smaller drawers and softer furniture details.
Project control Use one Hardware Schedule where handles, cup pulls, knobs, centres, finishes, quantities and room locations need to stay aligned across several cabinetry elevations.

Best-fit projects

Choose Farringdon for shaker kitchens, in-frame cabinetry, classic pantry rooms, utility cabinetry, boot-room storage, wardrobes, dressing rooms and furniture-led interiors where the hardware should feel warm, tactile and softly traditional without becoming ornate.

This is not usually the right collection for very hard minimalist cabinetry, sharp Bauhaus geometry, flat-only architectural pulls or bold Art Deco statement hardware. For those briefs, compare Beaufort, Burlington, Egerton, Maddox, Westbourne or Modern Architectural hardware before final selection.

Project and finish support

Capramont & Co Farringdon cabinet hardware is made in England for project-led interiors. Heritage finishes can be used for the main brass, bronze, black, satin brass and satin stainless routes, while selected Atelier metals can be reviewed for bathrooms, coastal homes, humid rooms or more technical material-led specifications.

For a clean specification, choose the Farringdon hardware type first, then confirm centres, overall length, knob size, projection, finish, room placement and quantity. If the project includes several rooms, a Hardware Schedule helps keep kitchen, pantry, utility, wardrobe and finish approvals aligned before production.
