Capramont & Co / Made in England

Made in England.
Made by Us.

The finest claim of provenance is the work itself.

Our cabinet hardware is precision machined, finished and inspected in England within our own specialist manufacturing operation. From bespoke kitchens to fitted interiors, the agreed specification stays connected to the people making the hardware.

Capramont & Co / Registered member

Independent recognition / Made in Britain

Made Here. Recognised Beyond Our Workshop.

Capramont & Co is a registered member of Made in Britain, the organisation representing British manufacturers and their products.

Our independent membership listing confirms the manufacturing provenance behind the Capramont name. The Made in Britain mark is used for qualifying British-made hardware.

01 / Provenance

The Label Is the Easy Part. The Work Is the Point.

For Capramont, Made in England describes where the hardware is manufactured, not simply where it was conceived or sold. Machining, hand finishing and dimensional inspection are managed within our English manufacturing operation.

It also means specifiers can discuss drawings, materials and project requirements directly with the manufacturer.

01

Machined Here

Components are precision machined in England, rather than purchased as complete off-the-shelf hardware.

02

Dimensions Reviewed

Fixing centres, lengths and projections can be checked against the project drawings before manufacture.

03

Material and Finish Specified

The agreed material and finish inform the manufacturing and approval process.

04

Inspected Before Dispatch

Completed hardware is checked against the approved project requirements before leaving England.

02 / The advantage of making

A Good Design Should Not End at a Standard Size.

Direct manufacture allows us to review fixing centres, overall lengths, projections and selected material or finish requirements before production begins.

It gives architects, designers and joinery makers a direct way to resolve the details that matter to an individual project.

Custom Fixing Centres

Non-standard centres, adjusted lengths and projections can be assessed against a drawing before they become a production commitment.

Finish Approval

The intended finish is confirmed before manufacture. A physical approval sample is optional; Capramont records the approved specification without retaining a duplicate sample.

Project Continuity

Recorded project dimensions, materials and finish specifications can support later additions and replacements, where project records are available.

Eligible Custom Work Without Minimum Orders

Custom requests are considered without a standard minimum-order quantity where eligible. Feasibility, price and timings are confirmed for the proposed specification.

03 / Engineering experience

Experience Is Most Valuable When It Shows in the Work.

Our family precision-engineering business was established in England in 1982. Across more than four decades, it has manufactured demanding components for elite motorsport, aerospace and marine applications.

That experience informs the hardware we make today: controlled drawings, material understanding, dimensional inspection and verification before dispatch.

Taste can be debated. Precision can be measured.

04 / One manufacturing philosophy

Two Expressions. One Standard.

Heritage hardware begins with architectural character and the quality of the finished surface. Performance Metals begins with the application, environment and properties of the material. Both are made to order in England.
