Trade terms

How trade terms are agreed

Trade terms are reviewed after application so Capramont & Co can understand the buyer type, project route, sample requirements and likely ordering pattern before confirming account access. This keeps the process suitable for studios, joiners, designers and project teams specifying made-to-order hardware.

Step 1

Application review

Capramont reviews your company type, buyer role and whether you are specifying for client or project work.

Step 2

Route selection

The right path may be samples, finish sign-off, project enquiry, Hardware Schedule support or account ordering.

Step 3

Terms confirmed

Account terms are confirmed before made-to-order hardware is released, so both sides understand the order route.

When to move from trade access to a Hardware Schedule

A trade account may be enough for straightforward repeat orders. A Hardware Schedule is better when the order needs one controlled record for products, finishes, centres, quantities, rooms and approvals.

Use Project & Drawing Review when...

You have drawings, elevations, cabinetry colours, door counts, proposed product choices, custom-centre questions or an existing schedule that needs checking before quotation or order release.

Use a Hardware Schedule when...

The project involves multiple rooms, several product types, repeat sizes, finish approval, revisions, phased delivery, client sign-off or future reorders and additions.

FAQ

Trade account and trade terms FAQs

Who can apply for a Capramont & Co trade account?

Trade access is intended for kitchen studios, joiners, cabinet makers, interior designers, architects, FF&E/procurement teams, developers and project teams specifying cabinet hardware for client or project work.

Is trade access the same as a project partner account?

No. Trade access is the general account review route for eligible buyers. A project partner route is more suitable where repeat projects, showroom use, project sample boxes, Hardware Schedules or larger specification support are involved.

Do I need a live project to apply?

A live project is helpful but not always required. If you are a relevant studio, designer, joinery company or project team, you can apply for Trade Access and explain whether you need samples, project support or future account ordering.

Are sample costs credited against a later order?

Sample credit should only be described where Capramont & Co has confirmed the rule. If a credit route applies, it should be confirmed in writing before order release, including the qualifying order, expiry, whether it applies to samples or project activation, and how the credit is applied.

Are trade discounts shown publicly?

No. Publicly listing exact trade discounts is not recommended unless formally approved. Trade terms should be reviewed after application and confirmed before made-to-order hardware is released.

Can Capramont review drawings or schedules?

Yes. Project teams can send drawings, elevations, door counts, schedules or early product choices through the Project & Drawing Review or Hardware Schedule route.

When should I start a Hardware Schedule?

Start a Hardware Schedule when a project involves multiple rooms, repeat product types, custom centres, finish approvals, quantities, revisions or client sign-off. It keeps the hardware record controlled before ordering.

Can approved trade buyers order online?

Approved trade ordering should route through the trade account system after qualification. SparkLayer should be used for approved trade pricing and repeat trade ordering, not as the first step for unqualified visitors.
