Maddox gives UAE cabinetry a softened Mid-Century line that works particularly well across wide drawers, tall doors and coordinated wardrobe elevations. Made in England by Capramont & Co, the collection pairs slender cabinet handles with hourglass-profile knobs for Dubai penthouses, Abu Dhabi private residences, contemporary villas, dressing rooms, media cabinetry and fitted living spaces.
Choose the handle length by elevation rather than repeating one size everywhere. The shorter formats suit drawers and standard doors; the longer formats organise tall larders, integrated appliances and wardrobes. Use matching knobs where smaller fronts need a compact grip, then approve centres, diameter, finish and quantities before the joinery package is released.
UAE Maddox specification overview
| UAE interior fit | Best for contemporary villa kitchens, Dubai penthouses, Abu Dhabi wardrobes, dressing rooms, media units and plain fitted cabinetry where the hardware should feel refined, elongated and softly architectural. |
| Two coordinated products | Maddox Cabinet Handles cover drawer runs, doors, larders, integrated appliance fronts and wardrobes. Maddox Cabinet Knobs coordinate smaller doors, upper cabinetry and furniture details. |
| Available dimensions | Overall handle lengths are 170, 210, 240, 310, 370, 450 and 690 mm, with 84, 124, 134, 204, 264, 322 and 562 mm centres. Knob diameters are 19, 25, 31 and 38 mm. |
Allocating Maddox across Dubai and Abu Dhabi joinery
| Standard-front handle use | Use the shorter Maddox handles on drawer banks, standard kitchen doors, vanity cabinetry and media drawers where a fine horizontal line is required. |
| Full-height handle use | Use 450 or 690 mm overall lengths where tall pantry doors, integrated appliances or wardrobe fronts need greater scale and a stronger vertical rhythm. |
| Soft modern knob use | The Maddox knob’s flat circular face and waisted centre create an intuitive pinch grip for upper doors, smaller wardrobe fronts, bedside joinery and furniture-scale details. |
| Room-to-room continuity | Mix handles and knobs across kitchens, wardrobes and media spaces to preserve one Mid-Century and Scandinavian design language without making every front identical. |
UAE scale, centre and finish checks
| Joinery compatibility | Maddox suits slab doors, plain-panel fronts, slim-frame shaker joinery and walnut or oak veneer. It works particularly well where soft geometry and natural materials define the interior. |
| Drilling-centre matrix | Centres are 84, 124, 134, 204, 264, 322 and 562 mm. Match each centre to its stated overall length and approve repeated alignment across all connected fronts. |
| Visual handle scale | Use shorter handles where the fitting should remain discreet and longer formats where wide drawers, appliance fronts or tall doors need a stronger line across the elevation. |
| Knob-size hierarchy | Use 19 or 25 mm for refined doors and furniture details, 31 mm for balanced everyday cabinetry and 38 mm where larger fronts need more grip and presence. |
| UAE finish and material route | Maddox is supplied through the eight Heritage patinated brass finish routes, with selected Atelier options in black carbon-coated stainless steel and titanium. Humid rooms, hospitality and yacht interiors require material review and finish sign-off. |
UAE ordering, sample and replacement checks
| Order-release checklist | Confirm product type, overall length, centres, knob diameter, finish, quantity, room, cabinet thickness and fixing method before order release. |
| Finish sample review | Approve the finish beside veneer, paint, stone, appliances, flooring and lighting so the chosen contrast is understood across every project space. |
| Retrofit drilling review | Measure existing centres before specifying Maddox as replacement hardware. The 84–562 mm centre range does not guarantee compatibility with a previous handle. |
UAE Maddox specification summary
| Architectural character | Mid-Century and Scandinavian with softened geometry, fine proportions and a furniture-led rather than industrial expression. |
| UAE applications | Dubai penthouses, Abu Dhabi residences, contemporary villas, kitchens, wardrobes, dressing rooms, media cabinetry and integrated fitted furniture. |
| Recommended product mix | Use handles on larger fronts and knobs on smaller doors or furniture details, selecting scale according to the elevation rather than applying one size throughout. |
| Multi-room specification | Use one Hardware Schedule to align product type, centres, lengths, knob diameters, finishes, quantities and room locations across kitchens, wardrobes and living spaces. |
Where Maddox suits UAE project cabinetry
Choose Maddox for slab-front kitchens, slim-frame shaker cabinetry, walnut or oak veneer, contemporary wardrobes, dressing rooms and media walls where the hardware should feel warm, light and design-led.
It is less appropriate for highly ornate palace cabinetry, formal Georgian interiors or schemes requiring cup pulls, T-bars or concealed edge hardware. Those requirements should be compared with another Capramont route.
UAE finish, material and drawing review
Made in England for project-led interiors, Maddox gives architects and designers a coordinated handle-and-knob family for modern kitchens, wardrobes, dressing rooms and living joinery.
Send cabinet elevations, proposed centres and preliminary quantities as the next step. Capramont & Co can review handle scale, knob diameter, finish sign-off, humidity-related material requirements and room allocation before production.
