Lexham is designed for Hong Kong interiors where every fitting must earn its place on a compact cabinet front. Made in England by Capramont & Co, the collection combines minimalist T-bars, T-bars with baseplates, cabinet knobs and knobs with baseplates for luxury apartments, penthouse kitchens, high-rise wardrobes, dressing rooms, fitted bars, bedside cabinetry and media joinery.
The collection provides more grip than a conventional knob without introducing the visual length of a pull handle. Choose the T-bar or knob format first, then decide whether the fixing needs the quieter plain version or the stronger baseplate treatment. Approve length, diameter, single-hole position, projection, finish and front thickness from the joinery drawings before drilling.
Lexham essentials for compact Hong Kong joinery
| Hong Kong interior fit | Best for compact kitchens, luxury apartments, penthouse wardrobes, dressing rooms, bar cabinetry, media units and fitted furniture where the hardware should remain precise, geometric and visually restrained. |
| Product routes available | The Lexham T-Bar and T-Bar with Baseplate serve drawers and doors. The Lexham Cabinet Knob and Knob with Baseplate suit smaller fronts, upper cabinets, wardrobes, bedside units and furniture-scale details. |
| Dimensions and drilling type | T-bars are available in 56 and 65 mm lengths. Cabinet knobs are available in 25, 31 and 38 mm diameters. Each product uses a single fixing, so the drilling point and baseplate choice must be confirmed before fabrication. |
Selecting Lexham for apartments, wardrobes and bars
| Reduced T-bar treatment | Use the Lexham T-Bar on compact kitchen drawers, slab doors, slim-frame shaker fronts, wardrobe doors and media cabinetry where practical grip is needed without making the front appear busy. |
| Structured T-bar treatment | The Lexham T-Bar with Baseplate adds a defined landing point on plain painted cabinetry, walnut or oak veneer, fitted bars and larger uninterrupted fronts while keeping the overall footprint compact. |
| Low-visibility knob treatment | Choose the Lexham Cabinet Knob for upper doors, narrow cabinets, wardrobe interiors, bedside joinery and media furniture where the smallest practical single-point fitting is preferred. |
| Defined knob treatment | Use the Lexham Knob with Baseplate where a plain front needs clearer visual definition, where veneer grain would otherwise overpower the fitting or where the fixing point should feel deliberately architectural. |
Scale, baseplate and finish checks for Hong Kong
| Front-style compatibility | Lexham works with slab doors, plain panels, slim-frame shaker fronts, walnut veneer, oak veneer and clean-lined joinery. It is especially effective on compact kitchens, wardrobe walls, bar cabinetry, bedside units and media furniture. |
| T-bar scale and hand clearance | Use the 56 mm T-bar on fine drawers, narrow doors and discreet furniture fronts. Select 65 mm where slightly more grip is needed or where the cabinet face can support a stronger visual point without feeling crowded. |
| Knob size by application | Choose 25 mm for refined upper doors and bedside details, 31 mm for balanced everyday use and 38 mm where a wardrobe, bar or larger cabinet front needs stronger definition. |
| Baseplate and visual grounding | Choose plain versions for the lightest expression. Add a baseplate when the fixing needs clearer separation from veneer, where a flat door lacks visual structure or where a bar or wardrobe elevation benefits from a more deliberate hardware point. |
| Hong Kong humidity review | Heritage directions include aged brass, Fine English antique brass, dark aged brass, bronze, black, satin brass and satin stainless character. Selected Atelier routes include powder-coated black, satin nickel on naval brass and 316L stainless steel. Humid kitchens, bathrooms and high-use bar cabinetry require material review and finish sign-off. |
Hong Kong drilling and replacement checks
| Pre-fabrication information | Record product type, T-bar length, knob diameter, baseplate choice, fixing position, projection, finish, quantity, room, cabinet thickness and fixing method before approving fabrication. |
| Finish sample in a compact room | Review the finish beside veneer, painted fronts, stone, appliances, flooring and the actual lighting scheme. In a compact interior, contrast between the hardware and cabinet face can materially change how prominent the fitting appears. |
| Existing-hole compatibility | Lexham is a single-fixing route suited to new drilling or an existing single-hole location. It will not directly replace a two-hole handle unless the cabinet front is remade or the former holes can be professionally resolved. |
Hong Kong Lexham compact-joinery summary
| Collection expression | Contemporary Minimalist with Bauhaus, Japanese Modern and Industrial Luxe influence. Lexham is geometric, compact and low in visual weight rather than decorative or period-led. |
| Hong Kong applications | Luxury apartments, penthouse kitchens, high-rise wardrobes, dressing rooms, compact fitted bars, bedside cabinetry, media units and furniture-led joinery. |
| Recommended hardware mix | Use T-bars on drawers, doors and compact grip points; use knobs on smaller fronts and furniture details; add baseplates where a single fixing needs stronger visual definition. |
| Compact-project control | Use one Hardware Schedule to record product form, length, diameter, baseplate selection, finish, quantity, single-fixing position, humidity review and room location across all elevations. |
Where Lexham suits Hong Kong fitted interiors
Choose Lexham for compact slab-front kitchens, slim-frame shaker cabinetry, walnut or oak veneer, high-rise wardrobes, fitted bars, bedside units and media joinery where the hardware should feel intentional without dominating the front.
Lexham is less suitable for long pull schedules, appliance-scale fronts, ornate period cabinetry or existing two-hole doors that require a direct replacement. Those applications should be reviewed against a longer or more traditional Capramont hardware route.
Hong Kong finish and project support
Made in England for project-led interiors, Lexham allows T-bars, knobs and baseplate versions to be coordinated across compact kitchens, wardrobes, bars and media cabinetry while preserving a quiet architectural rhythm.
Send cabinet elevations, front dimensions, proposed single-hole positions and preliminary quantities as the next step. Capramont & Co can review T-bar length, knob diameter, baseplate choice, finish sign-off, humidity-related material requirements and room allocation before production.
