Egerton is a bold architectural hardware collection for UAE interiors that need a disciplined Art Deco line across cabinetry. Made in England by Capramont & Co, the family includes three pull-handle profiles, a rectangular cup pull and a matching cabinet knob for Dubai penthouses, Abu Dhabi residences, villa kitchens, palace dressing rooms, fitted bars, media cabinetry and hospitality joinery.

Build the specification around the cabinet front and the required visual weight. Use bridge pulls or baseplate handles on larger doors and drawers, select the flatter P2 profile where the geometry should feel more restrained, and coordinate cup pulls and knobs on smaller fronts. Confirm centres, dimensions, finish direction and room allocation before workshop drawings are approved.

Egerton routes for UAE villas and statement interiors

Architectural bridge pull — P1 Egerton Handle P1 is the principal pull for drawer banks, wardrobes, tall doors, dressing rooms and bar cabinetry. Its stepped bar and block feet give Dubai and Abu Dhabi joinery a strong, deliberate architectural line.
Feature baseplate pull — P1B Egerton Handle P1B adds visual weight through its baseplate. It suits feature drawers, replacement situations and villa or palace cabinetry where a wider footprint should make the handle read as an intentional design element.
Restrained Deco pull — P2 Egerton Handle P2 uses a flatter rectangular face with stepped tracks. Choose it for contemporary UAE interiors that need visible Deco geometry without the stronger bridge-pull silhouette.
Drawer-led route — cup pull The Egerton Cup Pull suits kitchen drawers, pantry cabinetry, fitted bars, media units and hospitality furniture where a recessed grip and rectangular stepped face should create a compact geometric detail.
Coordinated smaller front — knob The Egerton Cabinet Knob continues the stepped collection language on upper cabinets, smaller drawers, vanity furniture, bedside cabinetry and compact doors without adding another long pull.

Preparing an Egerton schedule for Dubai and Abu Dhabi

Joinery style fit Egerton works best with shaker, in-frame shaker, panelled, beaded, fluted and ribbed cabinetry. It is particularly effective on dark veneers, painted villa kitchens, wardrobe walls, dressing rooms, bars and statement media joinery.
Drilling-centre matrix Egerton pull handles are available in 92, 124, 156, 220, 284, 364 and 604 mm centres. Confirm the selected centre before drilling, especially across repeated drawers, wardrobe fronts and appliance-adjacent panels.
Profile-selection hierarchy Choose P1 for a pronounced bridge-pull composition, P1B where the baseplate adds practical coverage or stronger presence, and P2 where a flatter profile better suits the room. Avoid mixing profiles without a clear elevation hierarchy.
Cup-pull and knob scale Egerton Cup Pulls are available in 60, 96 and 148 mm overall lengths, with 50, 86 and 138 mm centres. Egerton Cabinet Knobs are available in 25, 31 and 38 mm diameters.
UAE finish and humidity review Heritage directions include aged brass, Fine English antique brass, dark aged brass, bronze, black, satin brass and satin stainless character. Selected Atelier routes include naval brass, powder-coated white, satin nickel on naval brass and 316L stainless steel. UAE humidity, yacht interiors and high-use hospitality cabinetry require material review and finish sign-off.

UAE Egerton specification overview

Design position Art Deco, Linear Deco and Modern Classic with crisp stepped tracks, chamfered corners, block feet and strong geometric shadow lines.
UAE project applications Dubai penthouses, Abu Dhabi residences, UAE villas, palace dressing rooms, fitted bars, luxury kitchens, media cabinetry and selected hospitality interiors.
Hardware distribution Use pull handles on main runs, wardrobes and tall doors; cup pulls on drawers and media furniture; and knobs on upper cabinets, smaller doors and furniture-scale details.
Main selection risk Egerton is a visible architectural statement. It is not intended for almost invisible hardware, relaxed rural cabinetry or very soft Scandinavian interiors.

Where Egerton suits UAE project cabinetry

Egerton suits fluted villa kitchens, ribbed wardrobe fronts, dark timber dressing rooms, fitted bars, statement media walls and hospitality cabinetry where the hardware should reinforce the geometry of the interior.

For quiet replacement schemes, softer modern joinery or cabinetry where the pull should visually recede, another Capramont collection may be more appropriate. Egerton works best when its stepped architecture is part of the design brief.

UAE finish, material and project review

Made in England for project-led interiors, Egerton allows designers to coordinate pull profiles, cup pulls and cabinet knobs across several rooms without losing the collection language. Finish decisions should be reviewed alongside cabinetry colour, lighting, cleaning regime and environmental exposure.

Send elevations, centre requirements and a preliminary Hardware Schedule as the next step. Capramont & Co can review profile hierarchy, cup-pull scale, knob diameters, finish sign-off and room-by-room quantities before made-to-order production.
